• The Association of Tartan Army Clubs – Established in 2000, the Association of Tartan Army Clubs (ATAC) serves as a representative body for supporters of the Scottish national football team, both domestically and internationally. ATAC represents the interests of over 1,500 members from affiliated Tartan Army clubs across Scotland and abroad, while making it clear that it does not claim to speak for the entire Tartan Army. The association maintains regular communication with the Scotland Supporters Club and staff of the Scottish FA regarding matters that impact national team supporters, including ticketing, travel and security, fan experience, match transportation, and supporter events.

• Dunfermline Tartan Army – The Dunfermline Tartan Army unites football enthusiasts from the Dunfermline and West Fife region, who travel both within Scotland and internationally to support the national team. The club operates from the Elizabethan on Halbeath Road, organising transportation to all home fixtures, with many members also travelling abroad for away games. Beyond supporting Scotland at home and away matches, the group holds regular meetings, organises a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year, and provides assistance to local clubs and charitable organisations.

Tartan Army Charities

• Tartan Army Children’s Charity – The Tartan Army Children’s Charity (TACC) was established in 2006 by Scotland National football team supporters seeking to improve the lives of disadvantaged children. The charity’s mission is to support disadvantaged children in both Scotland and the countries where Scotland’s national football team competes. Tartan Army Children’s Charity is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) – Number SC038330. TACC operates entirely on a volunteer basis, ensuring that all funds raised are directed towards helping disadvantaged children, aside from minimal operating expenses. The majority of the charity’s funding is provided by the generosity of Scotland football supporters, known as the Tartan Army. Since its inception, TACC has donated over £900,000 to worthy causes.
• Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal – Membership in the Tartan Army extends beyond a passion for football or representing Scotland internationally. It is characterised by the connections formed around the world, one of which inspired the creation of the Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal. For each country visited by the Tartan Army, a local charity is selected to receive a donation, with a presentation typically held on or near the match day. The arrival of Scottish football supporters in traditional attire often leaves a memorable impression on both the children and staff at these organisations, who value the lively and personal engagement. Musical performances by pipers are also especially well received. The Sunshine Appeal was established by Scottish football fans motivated by national pride and a desire to make a difference and embodies the passion and spirit associated with Scottish football.
